Project procedure

Preparation
The foundation stone for the battery storage project is laid during the preparation phase. The focus is on gathering all the necessary project information, clarifying the legal and technical framework and examining feasibility. Key tasks include carrying out a due diligence review, clarifying insurance issues and defining the operator structure. At the same time, land issues such as development, zoning clarification and geological investigations are dealt with. Planning
In the planning phase, the battery storage project is worked out in detail. The focus here is on technical and architectural planning and obtaining the necessary authorisations. Specifically, the layout planning of the storage facility, the creation of construction and circuit diagrams as well as the development of fire protection and electrical engineering planning are carried out. This work will be supplemented by authorisation procedures under road and water law. The aim of this phase is to provide a complete, realisable plan that forms the basis for the next stage of the project.
Realisation
The implementation phase marks the transition from planning to realisation. At the beginning of this phase, the financing of the project is secured in order to create the economic basis for realisation. The storage components are then ordered, the construction work is carried out and the technical systems are installed. The construction work is carried out on the basis of the previously drawn up plans, while the integration of the storage facility into the energy grid is prepared in parallel. Once the construction work has been completed, comprehensive test runs are carried out and the system is finally commissioned. The handover of the system to the operator and manager ensures that the storage system can work efficiently in the intended operating mode. Depending on the financing model, the project can then be sold.
